Do you need help now?

Homelessness is never easy, but there is help available if you’re experiencing homelessness or if you’re at risk of experiencing it.

About Us

Working to Make the
System Better

At Journey Home, we see a future where everyone has a place to call home, where people who have lost, or are at risk of losing their housing, have access to a coordinated and easy-to-navigate system of care. A system of care that creates a safety net to catch people when their housing slips, supporting and housing them as they find their feet again.

Our Strategy

Functional Zero
Homelessness

The Journey Home Strategy was developed by a diverse task force and published in summer 2018. The strategy charts a pathway to bring homelessness in Kelowna to functional zero, setting specific targets to be met within a five-year timeline

I Want to Help

Help Us Make a Difference

Homelessness has an impact on all of us, not just those who experience it directly. Kelowna isn’t just a city, it’s a community. We all have a role to play in making homelessness history, just as we’ll all benefit from a community that’s made healthier, happier, wealthier and more productive by addressing homelessness.

Why You Should Help

We all have a stake in ending homelessness, just as we all have a stake in improving the community where we live. An end to homelessness means a better Central Okanagan for everyone.

Lived Experience Circle on Homelessness

The LECoH saw stigma as more than an emotional hardship or a cause of hurt feelings, they saw it creating real barriers that prolong and perpetuate homelessness.
